Week 1 Practice: RSS & Industry Blogs

I chose the RSS feed aggregating tool called Netvibes. It was fairly easy to use for me being that I have never used or heard of one of these tools. I tried to follow the first of my fellow classmates blog's that really caught my eye which was Safia Hatcher's blog  curls because I was just really impressed by the visuals on the page and the name of the page when I first seen it. For some reason I couldn't add it. I also added Elizabeth Peterson's blog One Love, From the Heart because in our previous class I really related to her introductory video so I really look forward to her post in her blogs. I also followed Imani Tolbert-Palmer's blog Two Worlds Collide: Stepping Out of the Dark because she says she is already a blogger so her post should also be very interesting and creative. I chose to follow ProBlogger because they give you a lot of strategies and tactics to help you become a better blogger. My blogging history is very minimal so this may be helpful for me. I chose Social Media Explorer because the author gives insight into the impact of social media on marketing and public relations. Lastly, I followed Techipedia because the author discusses everything from social media strategy and execution, to search engine marketing, and everything in between.
